slcc emails are delivering to my junk/spam folder... what can i do?

Many email clients use spam blockers to automatically reroute unwanted emails to a Junk or Spam folder. Unfortunately, many legitimate messages end up being flagged as junk or spam. To ensure that messages from Sylvia Lake Country Club end up in your inbox, you should add our email address to your allow list (also know as safe senders list).  CLICK HERE for instructions on adding email addresses to allow lists on different email clients.

How much are dues?

Dues for Sylvia Lake Country Club are currently set at $250 paid quarterly.  Payments are due in advance at the beginning of each quarter, January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1, and fees are assessed for late payments.  You can learn more about the various options for paying dues on our PAYMENT INFO page.

who is eligible for membership?

Only property owners in the Louise Park Plat are considered Proprietary Members of the Sylvia Lake Country Club.  Residents in select adjacent neighboring properties, may apply for non-voting Social Membership, which is subject to application, fees, and approval of the Board of Directors.  You can view the MAP for reference. am i a proprietary member or a social member?

Your membership level eligibility is outlined in detail on our SLCC GOVERNANCE AND GUIDELINES page.  Property owners in the Louise Park Plat (See MAP) are Proprietary members of the Sylvia Lake Country Club.  Persons not eligible to become proprietary members MAY be admitted to non-voting Social membership under application and upon approval of a majority of the Board of Directors.

how do i access the lake?

SLCC Members in good standing are provided with a Gate Access Code that unlocks the electronic gate at the community park located at 8602 71st ST NW.  Only members and their guests are permitted to use the community park, and members must give their name and Sylvia Lake Address when requested for verification. Community Park Rules are available on the Park & Cabana page. Please be aware that other areas on the shoreline of the lake are privately owned properties, and you should not trespass to access the lake from these other areas.

how do i reserve the cabana?

The cabana can be reserved only by members in good standing, and groups of 12 or more must request use of the cabana.  You must be LOGGED IN to access the CABANA RESERVATION FORM.  Cabana reservations must be made 24 hours or more before use is planned to avoid conflicts. Only the cabana can be reserved--the rest of the park is available to all members.

Members reserving the cabana are to pack out their garbage upon leaving.  Cabana reservations are listed in the SLCC CALENDAR  for your convenience.

how do i best use this website and how do i log in?

To protect the privacy and security of our members, you must login to access many features of our website. Only members in good standing can see most of those pages. There are several pages of our website--like this one--that don't require any special access.  If you are not logged in, and can see something on the main menu (black bar near the top), it is publicly accessible. ARE AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS ACCEPTED?  HOW ABOUT ADVANCE PAYMENTS?

Simplify your life! Our convenient Auto-Pay option will automatically charge your credit card on each quarterly due date.  When you select our Auto-Pay option, you will enter your credit card information, and then your dues will automatically be charged and applied to your invoice each following quarter.  Your payments will automatically post to your account, and you can access your account, update your information, or cancel at any time.  SLCC also offers the ability to pay your dues in advance both online and by check.  Advance payments are accepted in quarterly increments of $250. LEARN MORE ABOUT AUTO-PAY AND ADVANCE PAYMENTS

How do I manage my credit card information?

If you are enrolled for automatic payments, you can UPDATE YOUR CREDIT CARD or STOP RECURRING PAYMENTS when you login to your Member Profile:

  1. LOG IN to the website (https://sylvialakecc.org/login). If you have forgotten your password, click on FORGOT PASSWORD.
  2. When you login you should be taken directly to your CONTACT PROFILE page. If you find yourself elsewhere, simply scroll to the bottom of the page and click on your name under the icon.
  3. Directly underneath the green Edit Profile button, click on the PROFILE menu option.
  4. Scroll down under Membership Details and click on UPDATE CREDIT CARD or the STOP RECURRING PAYMENTS button.

why has my check (or bank bill pay check) payment not posted yet?

Check payments require a neighborhood volunteer to manually retrieve, deposit, and post them to your online account. When you use bill pay through your bank, the payments are received by SLCC as hardcopy checks. These bill pay checks can take 10 days to process plus additional time for mailing, resulting in payments being received after the due date. Payments received after the due date are subject to delays in processing, and may not be reflected in your account for up to 30 days. We do not assess late fees for payments received within the grace period. When your payment is posted, you should receive a receipt via email, and you can check your account anytime by logging into your account.
