First, there are several pages of our website that don't require any special access. Let's have a quick look around:
- HOME SLCC - The best place to start, our home page typically includes the most relevant information, such as important announcements and links to various other points of interest on our site. If there is something we want you to see right away, we will usually list it or link to it on the HOME page.
- GETTING STARTED - You are here!
- ANNOUNCEMENTS - This is a specialized forum where we place the full text of all of our important community announcements. (A summary of the most recent listings is located on the home page).
- CALENDAR - A list of community events as well as the dates that the cabana is reserved appear in the CALENDAR. Click on the specific event listed to see more information.
- ABOUT - In the ABOUT section, you can find a summary of our community and links to important information, such as our GOVERNANCE & GUIDELINES documents, CONTACT information and a list of our Board of Directors, our PAYMENT options, Park & Cabana rules, New Resident information, and if you still have questions, check out our FAQ!
But wait, there's more! To protect the privacy and security of our members, you must login to access many features of our website. Only members in good standing can see most of these pages. Members who are not current with their dues may only log in and pay their balance due to regain access.
HOW TO LOG INCurrent members should have received an email with your login ID email and a link to set your password. If you did not receive it, please contact our admin team for assistance at admin@sylvialakecc.org. You can click LOG IN on any page in our system where you see the icon (usually in the bottom corner of the screen, as on this page), or on our LOG IN ACCESS page. If you've forgotten your password, when you see the entry fields, click on FORGOT PASSWORD.

HOW TO UPDATE YOUR member PROFILE
When you log in, you are immediately taken to your CONTACT PROFILE page. Congratulations! This is a great place to get things done. Here's what you can do right here in your profile:
- PAY YOUR DUES: If you have an open invoice, your balance due will appear in a box near the top. Simply click PAY ONLINE to pay by credit card, and follow the instructions.
- VIEW YOUR PROFILE: Near the top of the page, you will see a button to EDIT PROFILE with a menu of profile screens under it (such as PROFILE and PRIVACY). To view the various options without making any changes, simply click one of the menu options. To update/change the information, you will click the EDIT PROFILE button.

- UPDATE/EDIT PROFILE: Click the EDIT PROFILE button, which will allow you to update your information. Simply update the fields and click on the SAVE button at the bottom. Help us to help you--the more complete your profile info is, the better! Directly underneath the EDIT PROFILE button, you will see a menu of profile screens:

- PROFILE allows you to view and update your contact and membership information.
- PRIVACY allows you to decide which fields you want to appear in our password protected MEMBER DIRECTORY. Click the EDIT PROFILE button to change the settings. If you wish to OPT OUT completely, simply uncheck the box SHOW PROFILE TO OTHERS. Once you have saved your changes, you can click on MY DIRECTORY PROFILE to view how your profile will be seen by others.
- INVOICES AND PAYMENTS: You can view and pay any open invoices here, and any payments after 12/5/22 will be reflected here as well.
HOW TO PAY YOUR DUES
- FROM THE INVOICE: Invoices will be automatically issued and emailed to you 2 weeks prior to each quarterly due date. Simply click on the ✪ VIEW/PAY INVOICE ONLINE ✪ link in the invoice. Once the invoice appears in your profile, click the PAY INVOICE button and follow the instructions to enter your credit card information.
- FROM YOUR PROFILE: Use the instructions above to log in to your CONTACT PROFILE. If you have any balance due, click the PAY INVOICE button in the box at the top of your screen and follow the instructions to enter your credit card information.
- AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS: Save us all time and effort! You always have the option to store your credit card information to use for future payments when you login. In addition, we offer an AUTO-PAY option which will automatically charge your credit card each quarterly due date. LEARN MORE AND SIGN UP FOR AUTO-PAY HERE
- PAYING DUES IN ADVANCE - Membership Dues are regularly paid in advance at the beginning of each quarter (Jan 1, Apr 1, Jul 1 and Oct 1). Members can pay the next quarter ahead at any time (Login to your member profile and click RENEW). Members may choose to pay further in advance in quarterly increments by check or credit card. HOW TO MAKE SURE YOU RECEIVE SLCC EMAILS
- ADD US TO YOUR SAFE SENDERS: Many email clients use spam blockers to automatically reroute unwanted emails to a Junk or Spam folder. Unfortunately, many legitimate messages end up being flagged as junk or spam. To ensure that messages from Sylvia Lake Country Club end up in your inbox, you should add our email address to your allow list (also known as safe senders list). CLICK HERE for instructions on adding email addresses to allow lists on different email clients.
HOW TO RESERVE THE CABANA
- CABANA RESERVATIONS: Once you are logged in, from any page, hover over MEMBERS in the main menu (black bar), and select RESERVE CABANA. Please take a moment to read over the instructions and guidelines. Then, complete the fields in the form and click SUBMIT. Please allow 3 days for our cabana volunteer to respond via email. Your confirmed reservation will appear in the CALENDAR.
HOW TO view THE MEMBER DIRECTORY
- MEMBER DIRECTORY: To protect the privacy of our members, you must be logged in to view the MEMBER DIRECTORY. From any page, hover over MEMBERS in the main menu (black bar), and select DIRECTORY. Further instructions are listed at the top of the page.
HOW TO VIEW SLCC MEETING MINUTES
- MEETING MINUTES: You must be logged in to view the MEETING MINUTES. From any page, hover over MEMBERS in the main menu (black bar), and select MINUTES. Further instructions are listed at the top of the page.
SPECIAL VOLUNTEER ACCESS PAGES
- BOARD OF DIRECTORS: You must be logged in AND be a member of the Board of Directors to view the BOARD ONLY page. From any page, hover over MEMBERS in the main menu (black bar), and select BOARD ONLY. If you are not a board member or you are not logged in, this menu option will not be available.
GOOD TO KNOW
- AM I LOGGED IN? Once you have logged in, you should see your name next to the icon. When you are logged in, the main menu (black bar) now has an additional section, MEMBERS. This is available only when you're logged in.
- RETURN TO YOUR PROFILE AT ANY TIME: To get back to your profile, simply find the icon and CLICK ON YOUR NAME (or VIEW PROFILE). You can always find the icon on the top of the HOME page.

BUNDLE MEMBERSHIP: In our system, we refer to households as "bundles". Each household or address is allowed up to 3 adults to participate with their own member access. Each person must have a unique email address, and the first person registered is the "bundle administrator". If you are not the bundle administrator, you will see a box at the top of your profile screen letting you know who is. Only bundle administrators may change to auto-pay, pay dues in advance, or view and add additional people to your household bundle (Typically, additional people are added so those additional bundle members can also receive member emails, have access to member-only pages, and view/pay invoices). To add a person to your household bundle, click on the ADD MEMBER button in the bundle administrator profile. If you wish to change your bundle administrator or just need help with your bundle, please contact admin@sylvialakecc.org.
