This page includes links and information to help you understand your obligations, privileges, and rights as a member of Sylvia Lake Country Club. Membership EligibilityProperty owners in the Louise Park Plat (see map) are considered Proprietary Members of the Sylvia Lake Country Club. Residents in a limited set of adjacent neighboring properties may apply for non-voting Social Membership, which is subject to application, fees, and approval of the Board of Directors. In addition, long-term tenants who wish to obtain access privileges may be considered for Social Membership, assuming all responsibilities and costs therein. All members pay regular quarterly dues, plus fees and assessments that provide funds to maintain the lake and community. GOVERNANCE & GUIDELINESPlease take the time to read through the Bylaws, Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs), as well as the policies for our association. The operation of our HOA is governed by a board of volunteer directors who are elected annually by our members. The board is responsible for overseeing the daily functions and financial responsibilities of the association, as well as compliance with the established rules and guidelines. DUES & PAYMENTSMember dues for both Proprietary and Social members are $250 per quarter, paid in advance and due quarterly on Jan 1, Apr 1, Jul 1, and Oct 1. Members may pay their dues further in advance in quarterly increments. Payments are accepted online by credit card, and subscriptions for automatic charges are available. Payments are also accepted by check through the mail or in our community drop box. New members are subject to current quarterly dues as of closing date, rounded to the nearest month. website & account managementThis website offers online payment and account management, and is a repository of information for our members. Please take a few minutes to visit and familiarize yourself with this resource and to get to know your community. You should find answers to most of your questions here. To protect the privacy and security of our members, you must login to access many features of our website. Our primary forms of communication, payment, and account management are by email and through our website. To establish your account please complete a new member application form. MEETINGS & EVENTSBoard elections and annual financial reports are presented to the membership at the annual meeting in June, and periodically, there are special member meetings to discuss timely issues. The Board of Directors meets regularly throughout the year, and all members are welcome to attend (RSVP is required).
