NOTICE - DUES INCREASE

SLCC Membership dues have increased to $250 per quarter beginning on 7/1/24. The Board of Directors approved this increase in May and included the additional revenue in the budget that was approved by the membership at the 6/8/24 annual meeting.

• Member dues for both Proprietary and Social members are now $250 per quarter, paid in advance quarterly on Jan 1, Apr 1, Jul 1, and Oct 1. Please update your records. Members may pay their dues further in advance in quarterly increments.

The consensus of members who attended our special meeting in February, 2023 and again at our annual meeting in June, 2023, was that members would prefer to pay increased dues on a regular basis to maintain community assets, rather than repeated special assessments. This proactive approach will allow more prudent planning and effective management of our community facilities by our Board. Additionally, the Board will be working to create a survey that will allow members to give advisory input about the priority considered for various projects.

The first payment of $250 is due on July 1, 2024, for which the invoice will be generated on June 17. This payment will require different action on your part depending on how you pay:

• If you pay by personal check, please be sure to make your check for $250 on or before the due date of July 1.
• If you pay by bank check, please be sure that you adjust the amount and date so that you are paying $250 each quarter on or before the due date. Making smaller monthly payments will result in late fees and requires additional work, placing an unnecessary burden on our neighborhood volunteers.
• If you pay using our Auto-pay feature—THANK YOU! Your automatic payment schedule should continue at the new rate of $250 per quarter. If you do not want to continue with auto-pay at the new rate, you will need to login to your profile and stop payments before July 1. Again, we are so grateful to you for making it easier for our neighborhood volunteers!

Although membership dues are a legal obligation for our Proprietary Members, the SLCC Board wants you to know that your participation is valued. As your neighbors, we invite you to stay informed with our website and emails, attend board meetings and our community events, and volunteer and participate with our organization so that your voice is heard. Our community can only thrive through the efforts of neighbors working together.
